VOLTERRA (Pisa, Toscana - Italia) Rievocazione medievale. Volterra A.D. 1398 giunge alla ottava edizione. La città sarà animata da gruppi musicali, teatrali, giocolieri, inseriti in un contesto urbano che conserva ancora ben presenti le tracce dell'antico passato. Il clou della manifestazione sarà la Giornata di Festa nell'Anno Domini 1398 che si svolgerà Domenica 21 e 28 Agosto, dall'alba al tramonto. In quest'occasione nel centro storico sarà ricostruita una città medievale del 1398 con mercati, artigiani, musici, giocolieri, popolani e nobili: un'occasione veramente unica per immergersi, quasi per incanto, nella magica atmosfera del Medioevo, in una delle più belle città della Toscana. ___________________ VOLTERRA (Pisa, Tuscany - Italy) Medieval pageantry. This is the eighth year of Volterra A.D. 1398 when the medieval streets of Volterra come alive with music, theatre and juggling. The festivities culminate in the Day of the 1398 festival, two full days, from morning to night to be held on the 21st and 28th of August. A Medieval city in the year 1398 will be recreated throughout the historical centre with markets, open workshops, musicians, jugglers, commoners and nobles; a unique opportunity to experience the enchanting atmosphere of the Middle Ages in one of the most beautiful cities of Tuscany.
